Our unique production process is a key advantage for customizing greases with very specific and advanced features. We offer you the possibility to choose the best-fitted carrier, should it be a mineral, vegetable, or synthetic base oil.
Kelico range
Based on calcium carbonate sulfonate technology, SEQENS greases exhibit outstanding resistance to corrosion as well as excellent extreme pressure and antiwear properties, without any additives. Their thermal and mechanical stability are key advantages for special applications with extreme conditions including warm and very moist atmospheres. SEQENS products outperform other types of complex greases in many ways. Their performances can be enhanced with supplementary additives.
Our latest development – KELICO® V range – opens the door to biodegradable calcium sulfonate greases.
KELICO® V products enable the lubricants’ manufacturers to formulate environmentally acceptable lubricants with exceptional performances.
According to numerous industry standards, KELICO V ester-based overbased calcium sulfonate greases are defined as biodegradable, non-bioaccumulative and non-toxic to aquatic species which makes them suitable candidates for applications where EALs are required. KELICO V overbased calcium sulfonate greases are premium greases for high load and high temperature applications, suitable for extreme environment and particularly adapted for marine applications thanks to their resistance to water and their intrinsic anticorrosion performances.

SEQENS offers an extensive range of lubricant additives for metalworking fluids and industrial lubricants. Our product portfolio encompasses extreme pressure, anti-wear additives, corrosion inhibitors and emulsifiers.

Extreme Pressure & Antiwear additives
Formulate Environmentally friendly lubricants thanks to our SULFAD® light-colored and low odor sulfurized extreme pressure additives.
SEQENS extreme pressure additives are sulfurized molecules that provide resistance to high loads and at times combined good anti-wear performances. They react with metal surface under heavy loads and form a physical barrier that persists under extreme conditions, preventing metal to metal contact. The percentage of sulfur varies from 10% to 34%, active or inactive. Relying on its expertise, SEQENS is supporting its customers by extending its Extreme Pressure additives range with new sulfurized esters: SULFAD® 1526 E, SULFAD® 1528 E, SULFAD® 1529 E. This new range of SULFAD has been specifically developed to have more chemical compatibility with group I, II, III, IV and V base stocksbase oils, by a tight selection of the raw materials to be sulfurized and an optimised manufacturing process. Therefore, from biosourced and biodegradable origin, these new SULFAD are the best candidates for use in environmentally acceptable lubricant (EAL). SULFAD® 1526 E is compatible with ferrous metals and zinc based anti-wear additive, SULFAD® 1528 E is compatible only with ferrous metals whereas SULFAD® 1529 E is compatible with all metals. They can ideally be used for formulating metalworking fluids dedicated to medium to heavy duty metalworking applications and for greases additivation.
SEQENS extends the LUSC list with 3 Extreme Pressure additives: SULFAD® 1710E, SULFAD® 1711E and SULFAD® 1523E.
Our three extreme pressure additives, SULFAD® 1710E, SULFAD® 1711E and SULFAD® 1523E comply with the criteria according to EU Commission decision 2018/1702 and have been added to the Lubricant Substance Classification list (in short: LuSC list).
The LuSC list is a list of substances that have been assessed on their biodegradation, aquatic toxicity, renewability and from an exclusion list of substances. This is a white list of components and packages approved for use in lubricating formulations intended to be submitted to European Ecolabel certification.
Therefore, SULFAD 1710E, SULFAD 1711E and SULFAD 1523E are the best candidates for use in lubricant formulations complying with the European Ecolabel.
Adjust metalworking fluid and industrial lubricants performances thanks to ROSCAN® antiwear additives. SEQENS’ antiwear additives are used to improve wear resistance and reduce the friction coefficient of lubricants. They are based on phosphorus chemistry. They are either phosphite or phosphate esters.
ROSCAN® 607 dedicated to neat metalworking fluids formulations has a synergistic effect with SULFAD® Extreme Pressure additives, enabling to obtain high antiwear performance of the final lubricant.

Emulsifiers and corrosion inhibitors play a crucial role in metalworking fluids mainly for soluble and semi-synthetic formulations. SEQENS additives have proven for a long time to be effective in emulsions, due to their high performances and their versatility. A well balanced and optimized formulation provides very stable emulsions and guarantees a high level of anticorrosion protection for a long service life.
