Towards a Sustainable Future: Decarbonizing Solvent Production at Roussillon
Our solvent production site is located at the Roussillon Chemical Park, a modern and collaborative platform that integrates industrial efficiency with environmental responsibility. Since 2011, a progressive energy transition has been underway, including renewable energy sources, improved energy efficiency, and waste heat recovery from industrial processes. These efforts allow us to offer low-carbon products while streamlining operations and reducing our environmental footprint.

Low-Carbon Solvents: Advancing the Transition
Our ISCC* Plus certified solvent range – including phenol, AMS, acetone, IPA, and IPAC – offers a low-carbon alternative to fossil-based solvents, with a carbon footprint up to 40% lower than conventional products (excluding biogenic emissions). Derived from renewable raw materials via a mass balance approach, these solvents meet stringent sustainability criteria while ensuring full supply chain traceability.
Life cycle analyses from cradle to gate confirm that the CO2 captured during biomass growth can outweigh production emissions, potentially resulting in a negative carbon footprint.
