SEQENS offers a unique range of corrosion & rust prevention additives based on calcium sulfonates chemistry. Thanks to our deep production experience, we are able to manufacture products with extensive combination of features to best fit customer needs.
Specially, overbased calcium sulfonates have a core/shell structure of calcium carbonate surrounded by calcium sulfonates. Dispersed in an oil, a solvent or a waterborne carrier, they act as a very good antirust component and they are water resistant. It makes them the perfect candidate for long term protection during storage, transportation, handling and use.
ARCOT – Solvent based
Overbased calcium sulfonate with a core/shell structure of calcium carbonate surrounded by calcium sulfonates. Dispersed in a solvent, they act as a very good anti-rust component and they are water-resistant. It makes them the perfect candidate for long–term protection during indoor storage. For outdoor protection, it is recommended to formulate with a wax or a resin.
ARCOT – Mineral oil based
Overbased calcium sulfonate with a core/shell structure of calcium carbonate surrounded by calcium sulfonates. Dispersed in a oil, they act as a very good anti-rust component and they are water-resistant. It makes them the perfect candidate for long-term protection during indoor storage. For outdoor protection, it is recommended to formulate with a wax or a resin.
